Doug Pankratz Tenor  

Doug has been active in the Winnipeg choral scene for many years.  He has sung with the Winnipeg Singers for over twenty years and also performs with Canzona, the Mennonite Festival Chorus and the Manitoba Opera Chorus.  Doug teaches Physical Education, classroom music, middle school band, and choral music at Winnipeg Mennonite Elementary School.  He is also active in his church with music and worship and choir involvement.  He and his wife Val, have four wonderful children, Michael - almost 16 years old (Yikes!), Derek - 14, Lindsey -11, and Jonathan - 9.  All are active musically and at any given time in the day you can hear several instruments playing in the house, including a trombone, euphonium, clarinet, Bari-Saxophone, piano, guitar and an old Chinese drum..... In his spare time.... Doug enjoys reading, attending his children's weekly activities and watching the occasional movie at home.
